Feared throughout Northern Europe,
the Norseman was the name applied to the Scandinavian population
of the period from the late 8th century to the 11th century. Commonly
called Vikings in the early medieval period, especially in connection
with raids and monastic plundering made by Norsemen in Great Britain
and Ireland. Our "Norseman" Viking sword is a no nonsense 28-inch
broad bladed cutting tool. The sword features a heavy pommel and
cross guard to balance out the flat blade for easy one handed use.
This is a fierce weapon with tremendous cleaving potential. The Handle
is leather wrapped Macassar Ebony available in either Black or Dark
brown (shown).
