The image of the Knight and his sword will live
forever through the sagas and tales of heroism during the Crusades
(1096-1291) and it is easy to see why these swords were highly
valued and handed down from generation to generation. This heirloom
quality Crusaders Sword is a well-balanced and striking example
of beauty in design! A very swift and well constructed 28" blade
is hand forged from high carbon steel and tempered over hot coals,
as was done back in the middle ages. The stylish guard is made
of either hand-cast solid brass or solid steel as is the beautiful
octagon pommel depicting the symbol of God: The Crusaders Cross!
The grip is made of polished ebony. Black leather over wood sheath
included. Blade: 2 1/4" wide x 27 3/4" long. 35 1/4 " overall.
