This Farr Cross is a reproduction of the Cross found on the Farr Stone. The Farr Stone dates back to the 8th or 9th century and is now located on the north coast of Scotland at Farr Church in Sutherlandshire. This Cross comes from a time and place where the Pictish influence was very strong, yet the cross bears no traditional Pictish style art.
